Of all the images being released today at The Digi Shack this is by far my favorite. I'm not even a flower person but this image is so versatile! I've been using a lot of white recently on my cards. It's just so clean and fresh looking. These daisies were perfect for the WRAK contest and this card uses a MOJO sketch.

I am hooked on a war strategy browser game called Travian! I've always loved war games not sure why because I'm a peace loving person. Guess it's my alter ego at work. Quick Baby Cards

I'm on a baby card making kick this week. I'm in the mood for simple yet elegant style cards. I am so in love with Cuttlebug for making embossed backgrounds. Besides ribbon CB embossed paper is my next favorite embellishment! The cards here each use CB paper, SU stamps, punches and ribbon. They can be made in a hurry and still pack a big handmade punch! I made about 10 baby cards yesterday and now can relax for a while...maybe...everyone seems to be having baby showers this Spring.

Beach Wedding

I recently started a shop on http://www.etsy.com/ selling the extra cards I have laying around. I'm not making a "paycheck" but have earned a little $ for craft supplies. Someone even requested a wedding card with a beach theme. She really wanted a couple on a beach background. I really had to pick my brain for this card! ;) I remembered having this SU image in my RAK box. So I colored and blended till the paper was starting to fall apart. This card is the end result. I want to think it looks like the sunset? What do you think? The buyer was happy and purchased it from me. It felt really good to make a custom card, it was a real privilege for me.

Stamping Bella Challenges

This week Stamping Bella released some new stamps. Their new robots are so cute, defiantly going on my wish list! I never seem to have the right images for guy/boy cards. Robots work for the big and lil guys. The DT is having a contest challenge for the release party over at SCS. The first challenge was to make a card using something new. My new item is Liquid Pearls used on my wedding card. This product it awesome! The second challenge was to use the colors coral, green & black. I made a birthday card but realized towards the end of my card...black is a funny color to use on a birthday card. Oh well my cards are done and I'm out of time to make any changes.

It's been day's since my blogger was working! Boy am I glad to be able to upload some cards! This pretty daisy (I made mine yellow) is from The Digi Shack. I wanted this card to be simple to really draw attention to the beautiful flower image. I embellished with CB embossed cardstock, Bella's Dot (Stamping Bella) and ribbon. How could I make a card without ribbon?? ;p

Today was a dreary gray rainy day. Our television & Internet were not working. It was so blah today. I have some more sneak peaks but have to wait until the sun comes up to take photos. This adorable bear is one of the digi images to be released 4-15 at The Digi Shack! It looks like the bee is about to land on his nose. :) I added some Stickles to the bee's wings and his flight trail for some bling. I embellished this one with ribbon, embossed cardstock, gel pen stitching and 2 cute little buttons with the shanks snipped of the back.

Just a simple anytime card with adorable image courtesy of The Digi Shack. This adorable giraffe is called "SPOTTIE". I think he is perfect for get well cards, or it's okay to be different friendship theme cards. He just cracks me up! In addition to the image this card was embellished with embossed SU cardstock, Top Note die cut, yellow brads, stitched ribbon and a little faux stitching with a white get pen.

I've been offered a position on The Digi Shack Design Team! I am so excited. It's been years since I had the chance to participate in a craft DT. Mickey For My Mom

My mom is crazy about Mickey Mouse! So in honour of her birthday and our trip to Disney World I made her this card. I embellished with a spiral clip shaped like Mickey's head. Picked the clips up at Disney years ago. Isn't it nice to finally use something you have been hoarding in your craft stash? Not sure who made this stamp, but it's called Mickey's Seed Pack.

My mom took us to Disney World this past week. Here is my sweetie pie wearing her first Mickey Mouse Ears! We had so much fun and ate way to much food. Can't wait to go back. It's been over a year since I had a seasonal pass. I couldn't handle all the walking while prego...I was supposed to be on bed rest. Ucky! So it was awesome to be back in the land of magic. Seeing the look on Ann's face was priceless!

I just got the cute Tilda via the WRAK forums. I've been wanting her for a while. It reminds me of the outfit/coat my daughter wore this winter. Another Gorjuss Girl card today. These gals have grown on me. My first though was blah not Gothic enough, lol. Not that I'm goth in any sense or shape. Gorjuss Girls are fun to color and make adorable cards. I'm hooked! The second series will be released later this month at Sugar Nellies. Other items used: Primas, Punches, Ribbon, Brads & Die Cuts.

This is my first card using an image from Sarah Kay. I love her girls they remind me so much of Holly Hobby. Yes I'm a 70's baby don't laugh! I did this with SU More Mustard. Never liked that color but it matches so well with my Prisma Art markers. It's now going on my must order list! Other goodies used: Prima flowers, Martha Stewart Branch Punch, Big Lots Ribbon, Dew Drops and Cuttlebug Embossed cardstock.

Made for the Gina K release party! Our challenge was to use flowers & spring colors on our cards. This is the only set of Gina K images I own so here we have a springy owl! lol Nope I didn't win the challenge but I'm happy with the way my card turned out. I think this image would also be fun for an expecting mommy. I'll have to remember this one next time I need a baby theme card.

This is a new line called Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie. I love the little gals they remind me of "Gothic" style cuties. So I made this card a little darker than my normal style. An experiment with color choices for wedding announcements. I am not a red person, it's my least favorite color. But it's so bold next to white. Kelvin suggested light blue or lavender but that seems boring. I'm making wedding/anniversary cards with colors we like to see what works best. My St Patrick's Day cards for this year. Isn't this moose cute? This little guy is Clover Riley from http://www.hannastamps.com/. I used a SCS card sketch for the layout. Card made for the March WRAK Card Challenge. Patty asked that we use a napkin or tissue as a background. This is such a fun technique and leaves you with a wonderful textured background. I received the beautiful sunflowers images via a member of the WRAK forums. The sentiment is from Verve Stamps. The rest is goodies from my stash.

Froggie's Birthday

For this months Card Challenge PattyB asked us to use a frog & a color combo. I combined that with the SCS weekly sketch challenge to make this birthday card. I intended for this to be a masculine card for my dad. But the ribbon & flower embellishment make it look sort of girlish. It was a fun challenge since I'm not a frog person. But, I am happy with the way it turned out. :)

Halloween in Feb??

I just finished my Halloween cards for next fall! I was in the mood for some fall colors. It was nice to make the cards and not feel rushed. ;) Of course my St Pat's Day cards are not finished. But Halloween can be checked off my list! It felt good. In the future I'll make my holiday cards far in advance. It takes the pressure off and makes it fun.

Whiff Of Joy Valentine

As soon as I received this heart shaped sentiment I knew it would be used on a valentine for my hubby. I colored this awesome image from Whiff of Joy using Prismacolor markers. The background for this is brushed gold cardstock that was embossed using a Cuttlebug Folder. The image & sentiments are WRAK's from fellow SCS members! I submitted this card for the February card challenge. This month PattyB asked us to make a card black, white & red all over! It's a perfect valentine color scheme.

My First Tilda!

I had so much fun coloring this little gal with Spectracolor pencils & "Goo Gone". I think OMS smells awful the Goo Gone has a nice citrus scent! The Magnolia images are great for shading and I love the chubby faces. I've fallen in love with this stamp company! Seriously I want to own every stamp this company makes.
